Just step into Sweet Memories and the years melt away like taffy on your tongue. For owners Christina Utz and Douglas Chase it's a sweet gig, running a candy shop. They opened the specialty shop on East Patrick Street in downtown Frederick the first Saturday in May and sell close to 200 varieties of candy, including 24 flavors of taffy.
